Let’s think about this for a minute. If you listen to the medical establishment or big pharma, they would have you believe that drugs, radiation or surgery are the only viable alternatives for cancer treatment. But does this make sense?

From my experience and research, I have found that it is a well-known fact that the most complex molecules found in nature come from plants, not from synthetic chemicals manufactured by man. In fact, many pharmaceutical drugs are derived from plants. The chemists take a plant that has been said to have an effect, then they identify the most chemically active molecule in its chemical composition. They then find a way to synthesize this one molecule in the laboratory. Then, they name that molecule and the pharmaceutical company seeks to secure a patent on it so that they can sell it and make millions of dollars on it.

Herbs have been used in medicine for thousands of years. It would appear to be a good idea to blend the best of herbology with the techniques that have been learned in modern medicine to come up with the best treatment available to the patient. It is important to realize that just because a substance or a plant is natural does not mean that it is harmless. Some herbs are powerful drugs, and can have harmful side-effects when used improperly.

The main problem with dependence on substance, regardless of whether or not they are plant-based or man-made, is that they are not a natural part of the life of the patient. Nobody ever died or suffered because of a deficiency of a drug or herb. Unfortunately, many, if not most people suffer from nutritional deficiencies. So treatment for cancer may be necessary, but an emphasis on taking in the right foods, the right vitamins and getting clean water and food may be just as important as the cancer treatment. If the proper nutrients are given to the body, it can not help but be healthy, or get healthy. It is all about balance.
