I’m not so sure if the odds of cancer recurrence are small. The conventional treatments tend to damage the body, weaken the immune system, and work against normal bodily processes. These factors do not work in harmony with the body. There is a dearth of honest scientific studies on absolute numbers of recurrence of cancer in patients. This is because the medical establishment and the mass media channels are heavily subsidized by the big pharmaceutical companies. They all make many billions of dollars from the status quo. If there were a change in the treatment options, power would shift away from the current leaders in the medical field. It is human nature for people to want to maintain their status, earnings and power. In short, there is a lot of bias against anything outside of conventional cancer treatments. If a treatment is not under the control of the pharmaceutical industry, they are not interested in it. In fact, the more effective a non-orthodox treatment is, the more resistant big pharma will be towards it because it will be a threat to their profits and power.

Hippocrates said that the physician’s main obligation is, “first, do no harm.” Butchery and poison are known to do harm. That’s just the way it is. I didn’t make the rules.
