Cancer Research and the Cancer Industry

Brace yourself for a hard-hitting video that pulls no punches about the current state of cancer research and the cancer industry.  This is some great information that all cancer patients should be aware of, especially if you are considering utilizing conventional cancer treatments.  The cancer industry is huge, and generates in excess of approximately $200 billion per year worldwide.

In summary, the War on Cancer which was started by Nixon in 1972, is an utter failure.  We are constantly fed spin about how a cure for cancer is ‘just around the corner’.  This has been the war cry of the cancer establishment and the Medical Establishment for the last 50-100 years!  But not only is there no cure, but the expenses for cancer treatment have skyrocketed.  In fact, more people are dying of cancer, and people are getting cancer at increasingly younger ages.

The American Cancer Society (ACS) claims that their mission statement is to eradicate cancer.  But according to their expenditures, they are more interested in corporate profits and wealth-building than they are in curing cancer.  In fact, if they cure cancer, they basically put themselves on the unemployment line.  They also have strong financial ties to various sectors of industry.  They are also known for having long-standing conflicts of interest with pharmaceutical companies and chemical corporations.  They accept huge donations and contributions from these corporate interests.  They support the very companies that pollute the planet and the people on it.  It is something of a symbiotic relationship.  The chemical corporations produce carcinogenic chemicals that cause cancer (while making huge profits), and when they cause the cancer in people, the Medical Establishment and the pharmaceutical companies make huge profits treating (but not curing) the resulting cancers.  It is a very sordid state of affairs.  Some of the companies that are a part of this corporate ‘back scratching’ are: Bristol-Myers, Squibb, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, Amgen, Genetech, Johnson & Johnson, British Petroleum (BP), DuPont, AkzoNobel, Penzoil, Concho Oil, Elizabeth Arden, Revlon, Christian Dior, Givaudan.

There are over 300 other industries & corporations that make huge contributions and donations to the American Cancer Society!  It is also reported that ACS supports many of these industries in their unethical activities.  ACS supports the auto industry by refusing to support the Clean Air Act.  They joined the Chlorine Institute in defending the manufacture of carcinogenic chlorinated pesticides.  They also support the cosmetic industry when they fail to warn women about the dangers of how hair dyes and talc powder cause cancer.

ACS’s annual budget is approximately $800 million, and they spend less than 1% of that budget on researching the prevention of cancer or the carcinogenic effects of environmental toxins that are released into the biosphere by the above corporations that give ACS money.  The Chronicle of Philanthropy, a corporate watchdog organization, after an analysis of the ACS budget concluded that ACS is more concerned with accumulating wealth than they are in saving lives.  They also warned of the transfer of wealth from the public to private interests.  Some of the credible scientists who share these views are Linus Pauling, Ph.D (two-time Nobel laureate) and James Watson, Nobel Prize winner and co-discoverer of the helical structure of DNA.

As incredible as the above facts seem, they are the truth that honest researchers and thinking people have found when they analyze and study the current structure of the cancer industry and cancer research.  The truth can not be hidden forever!
