I am Dave Dye and I am a scientist, and have been one for over 20 years.  I have worked in microbiology, neurophysiology, and endocrine physiology.  I have also briefly studied molecular biology/recombinant DNA at UCLA before doing a year in medical school.  In addition to this, I have worked in environmental science for the last 20+ years.  So I bring this scientific experience to bear when I analyze the cancer issue.  I’m not a layperson when it comes to science.
