Just watched an excellent video on cancer. The movie basically tells us that cancer is curable, right now. The problem isn’t that cancer is so complex or beyond our comprehension. The biggest problem is that curing incurable diseases makes established mainstream health practitioners angry!

I had an interesting exchange with a person who, evidently, supports the establishment cancer industry position on cancer treatments, cancer cures, cancer research and related issues. I didn’t think that a comment I had made on the Huffington Post in response to another comment would have engendered such a response, but it did. I found it to be very illustrative of many of the things that I have discussed here on smashcancer.com. But I also thought that by examining what was being said by this person, I could use it as a learning tool. I could see from our ‘dialogue’ that there was no point in trying to have a logical discussion of our points because this person basically had her mind made up.
I can understand how someone could, and would, believe the medical authorities. They’re the authorities! They are the ones that have all of the institutions, the schools, the degrees, the fellowships, the publications, the experts, and associated things. They are the ones that spend and/or expend the resources of time and money to study things like cancer, and they report their findings to us. They are people, and they and their family members suffer & die from cancer, just like everybody else does. A study published this week in the medical journal Carcinogenesis shows that grape seed extract kills head and neck squamous cell carcinoma cells, while leaving healthy cells unharmed. The grape seed extract (also known as proanthocyanidins and/or flavinoids)has been demonstrated to damage cancer cell DNA (by way of increasing reactive oxygen), as well as inhibiting the cancer cell’s ability to repair the damage. The best part is that the grape seed extract is not harmful to normal cells. This is probably due to the fact that cancer cells are known to have a lot of deficient metabolic pathways that can be vulnerable to attack. Normal cells do not have most of these vulnerabilities.
Another study that was published in the January 1, 2009 issue of Clinical Cancer Research by researchers from the University of Kentucky found that an extract from grape seeds caused in vitro leukemia cells to commit suicide. continue reading…
Cannabinoids have been proven to kill cancer tumor cells. The active components of marijuana, called cannabinoids, inhibit tumor growth in laboratory animals, and have also been proven to actually kill cancer cells. In fact, the US government has known this for over 30 years. In fact, cannabinoids have also been demonstrated to kill antibiotic resistant bacteria, like methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), just as effectively as vancomycin and other powerful antibiotics.
I came across a very good article that described the present condition of the United States. We are taught in school that the United States has a capitalistic economic system. But upon closer examination, the ideal does not match up with the reality. It is not just in Big Pharma or orthodox cancer treatments, but in virtually every major institution in American society.
We see the big banks get billions of dollars in bailouts, while there is nothing for failing state, county and municipal governments. There is always enough money for war and other endeavors that are profitable for the privileged few. It actually appears that there is an organized war on the Middle Class in America. We have been focusing on news about Big Pharma and the Medical Establishment, but it’s time to get back to basics. The real goal is to cheaply, safely, effectively help people get rid of cancer. On that note, while doing some searches online, I found some anecdotal accounts of people getting rid of their cancer and/or tumors with the use of garlic. It looked promising. We know that garlic is a very powerful herb. You can tell that just by its extremely pungent odor.
Garlic has a number of interesting properties. It has been used as a food and medicine for thousands of years. It has been found to have antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal activity. It is also claimed that it is good for preventing heart disease. It is said to prevent certain types of cancer. Garlic cloves have been used as a treatment for infections, digestive disorders, and fungal infections. Raw garlic is the most potent form. Cooking tends to reduce its effectiveness. This video covers another anecdotal report from a man (Alan McNutt) who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2000. According to his reports, he started off going to conventional doctors who performed surgery to remove tumors from his thyroid. But the tumors came back. The surgeon who performed the lumpectomy basically told him to go see somebody else when he found out that the tumors returned. He abandoned his patient. This is totally unacceptable. It indicates to me that this physician is not dedicated to helping his patients. He isn’t ambitious enough to continue to seek to help his patient, not willing to search anywhere and everywhere for a solution to his patient’s health condition. There is a lot of controversy about the findings of a Dr Tullio Simoncini regarding the use of sodium bicarbonate for cancer therapy. He says that based on his study and experience, cancer is a fungus, candida albicans to be exact. He also claims that he has been having great success in the treatment of solid tumors with the use of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). But mainstream medical authorities like the American Cancer Society have been negative about these developments.
The American Cancer Society web site on sodium bicarbonate is precisely worded. They never actually come out and say that baking soda does not work on cancer. They make a bunch of leading statements about the topic. They basically say that available scientific evidence does not support claims that cancer is caused by yeasts or molds, that sodium bicarbonate treats cancer, and that these claims are not supported by clinical or scientific evidence. continue reading…
This isn’t a brand new story, but it is typical of what happens to alternative cancer treatment practitioners. As you will see, it doesn’t matter whether or not they are licensed physicians or dentists, or whether or not the treatment actually works. The critical factor is whether or not the treatment is profitable to Big Pharma and the related interests. The bottom line is that if the treatment would undermine big corporate profits, it is certain to be scrapped and flushed down the ‘memory hole’.
