I had done a previous article on GM crops, and decided to do another, more in-depth review of this subject. Originally, I was going to cover possible links between genetically modified foods and cancer. But in the process of reviewing a PowerPoint presentation based on the award-winning movie, Seeds of Deception by GMO activist Jeffrey Smith, I was totally floored by the extent of the danger of genetically modified food elements. It is a literal Pandora’s Box of danger. Preliminary studies have linked GMO foods with cancer, degenerative diseases, birth defects, sterility, and other health conditions.

I found an article in the Wall Street Journal that shows that the rate of retractions of scientific studies in scientific journals has proliferated over the last decade. Data compiled for the WSJ by Thompson-Reuters shows that the number of research articles published since 2001 increased by 44%, while during the same period the number of articles retracted increased 15 times.

This has an effect on all scientific research, even cancer research and treatment.  In one instance, research at the Mayo Clinic was set back about a decade.  They found that some experiments that were related to the use of the body’s own immune system to fight cancer had been fabricated.  This incidence of fraud ended up leading to the retraction of 17 research papers that were published in nine scientific journals. continue reading…

I came across a very good article that described the present condition of the United States.  We are taught in school that the United States has a capitalistic economic system.  But upon closer examination, the ideal does not match up with the reality.  It is not just in Big Pharma or orthodox cancer treatments, but in virtually every major institution in American society.

We see the big banks get billions of dollars in bailouts, while there is nothing for failing state, county and municipal governments.  There is always enough money for war and other endeavors that are profitable for the privileged few.  It actually appears that there is an organized war on the Middle Class in America.  Taxes are reduced for the rich while they skyrocket on average people. This video covers another anecdotal report from a man (Alan McNutt) who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2000.  According to his reports, he started off going to conventional doctors who performed surgery to remove tumors from his thyroid.  But the tumors came back.  The surgeon who performed the lumpectomy basically told him to go see somebody else when he found out that the tumors returned. He abandoned his patient.  This is totally unacceptable.  It indicates to me that this physician is not dedicated to helping his patients. He isn’t ambitious enough to continue to seek to help his patient, not willing to search anywhere and everywhere for a solution to his patient’s health condition.  Very disturbing to consider that people who have (allegedly) dedicated their lives to helping patients are not dedicated enough to find a cure. continue reading…

There is a lot of controversy about the findings of a Dr Tullio Simoncini regarding the use of sodium bicarbonate for cancer therapy.  He says that based on his study and experience, cancer is a fungus, candida albicans to be exact.  He also claims that he has been having great success in the treatment of solid tumors with the use of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda).  But mainstream medical authorities like the American Cancer Society have been negative about these developments.

The American Cancer Society web site on sodium bicarbonate is precisely worded.  They never actually come out and say that baking soda does not work on cancer.  They make a bunch of leading statements about the topic.  They basically say that available scientific evidence does not support claims that cancer is caused by yeasts or molds, that sodium bicarbonate treats cancer, and that these claims are not supported by clinical or scientific evidence. continue reading…

Although there is a lot of research done on genetic causes of cancer, as well as the identification of risk factors, these do not really identify a solid cause of cancer.  The risk factors for cancer given by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) name a lot of things that are correlated with increased rates of cancer.  But they also say that the majority of people with risk factors are not ever diagnosed with cancer.  So this makes the value of risk factors dubious, at best.

Otto Warburg, a prolific researcher and Nobel Laureate, found that low oxygen levels in cells cause them to become cancerous.  He also discovered that while normal cells function from aerobic (air loving) respiration, cancer cells generate energy from anaerobic respiration.  Some think that cancer is a survival mechanism that allows cells to live in a low oxygen environment. continue reading…

The Big Pharma apparatus is at it again. The latest intrusion on people’s rights happened in Detroit.

A mother, Maryanne Godboldo, of a 13 year old girl decided to refuse Big Pharma psychotropic medication.  Child Protective Services (CPS) personnel tried to abduct the child.  They accused her of not giving her daughter psychiatric medication prescribed by her doctor.  The mother says that the medication caused adverse side effects in her child that worsened her condition, so she would not give her the medication.  The medication, Risperdal, has a long track record of causing very serious side effects like vomiting, nausea, lack of coordination, anxiety and dizziness. continue reading…

Despite the lack of coverage that mass media is giving to the Fukushima nuclear disaster, the releases of radioactive nuclides will negatively affect the world for a long time.  Experts agree that there is no safe level of radiation exposure. According to reports various sources, including the EPA, there is food with radionuclides being found in the food supply in America.  And radioactive particles that are taken internally are many times more dangerous than being exposed to external radiation. continue reading…

The Fukushima nuclear power plant incident has made everyone acutely aware of how dangerous nuclear energy can be. Everyone knows that radiation is very poisonous, and is not save at any dosage level. But I myself was a bit perplexed about the effect that radioactive iodine can have on humans. So I had to go back and do a bit of homework on it.

The form of iodine that is radioactive is an isotope, known as iodine-131 or radioiodine. It has a half-life of approximately 8 days. Although it is used mostly in medical and pharmaceutical applications, it is most notorious for its role as a major radioactive agent present in nuclear fission products. It was a leading cause of the deleterious health effects from open-air atomic bomb testing in the 1950′s, the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, and is a dreaded concern in reference to the recent Japanese nuclear crisis. continue reading…
