Even though doctors using this have only treated three leukemia treatments, they say that the results from this are amazing. Physicians at the University of Pennsylvania report that this treatment for chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), the most common leukemia, made it disappear in two patients, and that it reduced it by 70% in the third patient.  In fact, in each patient, up to five pounds of tumor tissue was gone in a few weeks, and that it is still gone after a year.

The method that researchers from Abramson Cancer Center removed certain types of white blood cells (leukocytes). They then utilized an engineered, allegedly harmless version of the HIV virus and inserted a number of genes into the white blood cells. These genes were designed to get the cells to target and kill the cancer cells. Researchers grew a large batch of these cells and then injected them back into patients. These cells then began to mercilessly and persistently track down the cancer cells and kill them. There is a lot of controversy about the findings of a Dr Tullio Simoncini regarding the use of sodium bicarbonate for cancer therapy.  He says that based on his study and experience, cancer is a fungus, candida albicans to be exact.  He also claims that he has been having great success in the treatment of solid tumors with the use of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda).  But mainstream medical authorities like the American Cancer Society have been negative about these developments.

The American Cancer Society web site on sodium bicarbonate is precisely worded.  They never actually come out and say that baking soda does not work on cancer.  They make a bunch of leading statements about the topic.  They basically say that available scientific evidence does not support claims that cancer is caused by yeasts or molds, that sodium bicarbonate treats cancer, and that these claims are not supported by clinical or scientific evidence. continue reading…

Although there is a lot of research done on genetic causes of cancer, as well as the identification of risk factors, these do not really identify a solid cause of cancer.  The risk factors for cancer given by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) name a lot of things that are correlated with increased rates of cancer.  But they also say that the majority of people with risk factors are not ever diagnosed with cancer.  So this makes the value of risk factors dubious, at best.

Otto Warburg, a prolific researcher and Nobel Laureate, found that low oxygen levels in cells cause them to become cancerous.  He also discovered that while normal cells function from aerobic (air loving) respiration, cancer cells generate energy from anaerobic respiration.  Some think that cancer is a survival mechanism that allows cells to live in a low oxygen environment. continue reading…

This is a alternative cancer treatment testimonial by Marilyn & Glenn of Brisbane and Coffs Harbour in Australia.  I think that this contains some very valuable information for cancer patients and their caregivers. Each video is about 8 minutes long.

Glenn was diagnosed with esophageal cancer after experiencing reflux symptoms.  Upon examination, he was found to have a 2cm diameter tumor.  He was treated with chemotherapy and radiation.  He had about 5 days of chemotherapy, and 15 days of radiation.  This was not to cure the cancer, but to hit it hard so as to give the surgeons a better chance of removing all of the tumor.  They had planned to remove his esophagus.  Fortunately for them, the surgeons were booked solid, so the surgery was scheduled 6 weeks after the radiation treatments. continue reading…

I found a great series of videos on Vitamin C.  This is a speech given by a Dr. Thomas Levy, a cardiologist and attorney.  He presented this at the 35th Annual Tree of Life Cancer Convention given in 2008, and it was amazing information.  This is information that everyone needs to see because it is extremely valuable.  Yes, there are honest physicians out there, but you’re not going to see them on CNN, ABC News, or any other mainstream media program because the big corporations make too much money off of uninformed people that trust them. Michael Douglas announced that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer.  He says that he has already started chemotherapy and radiation therapy.  On an interview with David Letterman, he also stated that he thought he had an 80% chance of recovery.  Although he sounded optimistic, I found that at one point in the interview, he said that he knew that the treatments would be hard & that his condition would get worse.  This is definitely how most cases go with conventional cancer treatments.  He did not look healthy to me.

I do wish him the best of luck with this, but the prognosis is not good.  Unfortunately, he has already decided to go with the highly toxic conventional cancer treatment regimen of chemotherapy and radiation.  Chemotherapy is essentially chemical warfare agent type substances.  I know that some people get better with chemotherapy, but I think that most of these cases could be termed Pyrrhic victories.  How much value is it if a patient gets the cancer to go into remission, and then has a ‘relapse’ to which she succumbs?  Even though there are people that benefit from chemotherapy and radiation, this is a small minority of cancer patients. continue reading…

This sounds like a promising drug, but it is basically a pharmaceutical drug that is attempting to replicate the action of many cheaper, more effective, less toxic natural substances.

This drug, called Ipilimumab, is a drug that is alleged to cause the body’s immune system to fight the cancer instead of using the traditional strategy of using chemotherapy or radiation to directly kill cancer cells.  Unfortunately, this strategy also kills and damages normal body cells, and leads to severely debilitating side effects. continue reading…

In short, chemotherapy is derived from chemical warfare agents (specifically, the one called mustine). Scientists have found that fructose sugar feeds cancer cells, and that fructose is metabolized by cancer cells and tumor cells in different ways.  It is known that fructose intake has been linked to pancreatic cancer.

They found that cancer cells have the ability to metabolize fructose to increase their growth rates.  This is critical information for cancer patients to know.  They need to reduce fructose intake.  We already know that sugar fuels cancer cell growth, but this difference in the way that the different sugars are used in the diseased cells is new information. continue reading…
