Learn about alternative cancer treatments, the Medical Establishment and the Cancer Industry

This isn’t a brand new story, but it is typical of what happens to alternative cancer treatment practitioners.  As you will see, it doesn’t matter whether or not they are licensed physicians or dentists, or whether or not the treatment actually works.  The critical factor is whether or not the treatment is profitable to Big Pharma and the related interests.  The bottom line is that if the treatment would undermine big corporate profits, it is certain to be scrapped and flushed down the ‘memory hole’.

This is about a treatment method that was actually designed by a Dr. William Kelley, a dentist who operated out of Texas.  He used a nutritional approach to fight cancer, and cured himself of what the medical establishment calls terminal Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.  His treatment method uses three main strategies to restore the body to health.  They are nutritional support, detoxification and supplementation with pancreatic enzymes.  These are probably things that would help out someone who was normal, and would not harm anyone in the way that conventional cancer treatments hurt patients. continue reading…

I had to ask myself this question after reading a blog entry entitled The Cancer Cure THEY Don’t Want You to Know About, by a writer called Healthseeker. He spoke about apricot kernels and a substance called Xanthohumol as effective, non-toxic treatments for cancer.  He actually described cancer as the result of a deficiency of vitamin B-17 (also known as amygdalin, closely related to Laetrile).  Xanthohumol is an antioxidant that is derived from hops.  I don’t know much about it.

Although the article was not the best, I thought that the author gave someone enough information to stimulate readers to do some research to verify what he said.  I must admit that there were no references, no links, no substantiation of anything the author said in the article.  But that was not what really surprised me. continue reading…

This is a alternative cancer treatment testimonial by Marilyn & Glenn of Brisbane and Coffs Harbour in Australia.  I think that this contains some very valuable information for cancer patients and their caregivers. Each video is about 8 minutes long.

Glenn was diagnosed with esophageal cancer after experiencing reflux symptoms.  Upon examination, he was found to have a 2cm diameter tumor.  He was treated with chemotherapy and radiation.  He had about 5 days of chemotherapy, and 15 days of radiation.  This was not to cure the cancer, but to hit it hard so as to give the surgeons a better chance of removing all of the tumor.  They had planned to remove his esophagus.  Fortunately for them, the surgeons were booked solid, so the surgery was scheduled 6 weeks after the radiation treatments. continue reading…

This is a testimonial for alternative cancer treatments from an Australian named Paul.  He is 66 years old at the time of the video, and worked as an architect before he was not able to pursue his career anymore.

Paul was diagnosed with a non-Hodgkins lymphoma around 1997.  He said that it was a small cell, low grade, slow-growing type of cancer.  His physicians told him that his cancer would not respond to any forms of radiation or chemotherapy.  This meant that Paul had no choice but to pursue alternative cancer treatment methods.  He reports that he is happy that he did not do any traditional cancer treatment methods (i.e., chemotherapy, radiation or surgery). continue reading…

Physicians had no answers to this man’s cancer problem, but he found effective actions in spite of this.

It just goes to show you that just because the ‘experts’ may be dumbfounded, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t an answer to your questions and solutions to your health problems.

But you must be aware that this is what is termed an ‘anecdotal’ report, and isn’t scientifically valid.  By that same token, there is something here that is worthy of study because of the positive result that Brad received by doing what he did.  The scientific standard for a study is called the randomized, double-blind study. Neither the experimental subjects or the researchers know who is in the control group (the group that receives no treatment or a placebo) and the experimental group (the group that receives the treatment under investigation). continue reading…

I found an article in which a leading breast cancer surgeon strongly admonished the Prince of Wales for him publicly supporting alternative cancer therapy for cancer patients.  Although this report isn’t as timely as I would have liked (around 2004), it is very instructive as to the mindset of many medical professionals, and how they view things.  I decided to analyze what the physician was saying so that you could better see how they think.

Michael Baum, emeritus professor of surgery at University College London basically told Prince Charles that he was full of it.  The Prince was supporting the Gerson therapy for cancer (and many other diseases).  I do realize that this therapy doesn’t work for everybody (no treatment or therapy has a 100% cure rate), but Dr. Gerson did have a success rate that was higher than that for conventional cancer treatments(which is said to really be closer to 3% than what they claim it is). continue reading…

I couldn’t contain myself after going to a blog that discusses cancer treatments. They were essentially talking negatively about homeopathic treatments for cancer in this blog post.  I found it interesting.  I am not sure about the effectiveness of homeopathy treatments for any disease.  Personally, I haven’t seen or found any evidence for the effectiveness of homeopathy.  It seemed to me to be an easy target for derision.  I noticed that they didn’t choose to discuss any more efficacious treatments, such as Laetrile/B-17, Hoxsey’s formula, Essiac, etc.

So I went ahead and posted my own comments on the topic.  I think it was a board that will probably be adverse to my comments and views, but I went ahead and posted it anyway.  I’ll just post here what I said and let you check it out: continue reading…

The American Medical Association (AMA), the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the American Cancer Society (ACS), and especially the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) all serve to ensure that the profits that corporations earn from the cancer industry are protected from any cures or safe, effective treatments that may happen to crop up.  Big Pharma is big business, and the people and organizations that make money from this arrangement vigorously protect this system.  This 5 minute video will concisely and accurately describe how this works.

Laetrile (apricot pits), Dr. Stanley Burzynski (antineoplastons), and other alternative cancer treatments are targeted for attack and suppression by the Medical Establishment. continue reading…

This could be considered to be a rhetorical question.  But it also is a very legitimate question as well.  This is because since Nixon declared the War on Cancer in 1972, many billions of dollars have been spent on seeking a cure for cancer.  At least that is what the medical researchers have been telling us.  But there has not been any meaningful progress in finding an effective treatment or cure for cancer.  Despite the incessant pronouncements in the mass media that have been telling us for over 50 years that a cure is ‘just around the corner’, the vast majority of people that are diagnosed with cancer do not survive for long. continue reading…

This is a good, simple video to get you to thinking about some possible answers to your cancer treatment.  Understand that they may not work instantly, especially if you have already been subjected to chemotherapy, radiation or surgery.  Chemotherapy and radiation are notorious for their negative effects on the immune system.  The immune system is the bodily system that is used to fight and defeats cancer. So if it is destroyed, you literally have no way to fight and defeat the cancer if it reappears. continue reading…
