I had to ask myself this question after reading a blog entry entitled The Cancer Cure THEY Don’t Want You to Know About, by a writer called Healthseeker. He spoke about apricot kernels and a substance called Xanthohumol as effective, non-toxic treatments for cancer.  He actually described cancer as the result of a deficiency of vitamin B-17 (also known as amygdalin, closely related to Laetrile).  Xanthohumol is an antioxidant that is derived from hops.  I don’t know much about it.

Although the article was not the best, I thought that the author gave someone enough information to stimulate readers to do some research to verify what he said.  I must admit that there were no references, no links, no substantiation of anything the author said in the article.  But that was not what really surprised me. continue reading…

Brace yourself for a hard-hitting video that pulls no punches about the current state of cancer research and the cancer industry.  This is some great information that all cancer patients should be aware of, especially if you are considering utilizing conventional cancer treatments.  The cancer industry is huge, and generates in excess of approximately $200 billion per year worldwide.

This is a very informative video.  It is brief, but straight to the point.  Everybody needs to learn about this, and be exposed to this information.  You can either be a victim of the Cancer Industry, or you can take back your power and choose life. This is just one instance of how Big Pharma companies operate. This video isn’t about cancer (directly), but it will show you how these companies do business, and how they shamelessly flaunt the law. In fact, the laws apparently don’t mean much to them. It’s all just a business expense to them. They are obviously making more money by breaking the laws than they could by following them. Their only consideration is the ‘bottom line’, and the effects of the drugs on the patients is of a much lower priority.

It doesn’t matter what metric you use, $90 billion dollars is a LOT of money to spend.  Especially in these difficult financial times.  The bottom line is that cancer spending in 1990 was $27 billion.  In 2008, this figure increased over 3 times to a whopping $90 billion.  This massive increase in spending is said to be caused by the rapidly increasing costs of complex new drugs, robotic surgeries and radiation procedures, and the increasing number of patients eligible for them. continue reading…
