I found an interesting article about how misleading cancer screening accuracy and statistics can be. The old saying is that there are lies, damned lies, and statistics.

The article says that Rudy Giuliani cited data comparing prostate cancer statistics from Britain versus those from the United States. The report said that in Britain, 44% of men diagnosed with prostate cancer were alive 5 years, and that in the US, about 81% of these men were alive 5 years later. He then concluded that the 5 year survival rate for prostate cancer in the US was about twice as high as that in England. continue reading…

We are always bombarded with all sorts of claims of improved treatments for cancer, along with reports of increased survival rates from cancer.  The standard statistic used to describe the effectiveness of cancer treatment is the 5 year survival rate.  This report will be an analysis of this statistic and other related issues.  In short, the cancer survival statistics appear to be ‘massaged’ in order to make conventional cancer treatments appear to be more effective than they really are.  If the true cure rates were widely known, most people would shun them and demand better strategies.

This is a very informative video.  It is brief, but straight to the point.  Everybody needs to learn about this, and be exposed to this information.  You can either be a victim of the Cancer Industry, or you can take back your power and choose life. These statistics don’t look good.  It appears that the incidence of prostate cancer, along with the mortality rate, have both increased over the years.  This seems to suggests that the current approaches to treating and understanding cancer are not working.  If you can think of another cause for this, please let me know about it.

Although there is a big marketing campaign underway to increase the public’s awareness of breast cancer, it has been found that lung cancer actually kills more women than breast, ovarian and cervical cancers combined.  This is unfortunate news, but the truth has to come out.

What is very surprising about this is that 66% of women who come down with lung cancer either have quit smoking at least 10 years before diagnosis, or they have never been smokers. continue reading…
