There are a lot of positives related to alternative cancer treatments.  We know that they tend to be less toxic, can be more effective than conventional cancer treatments, work with the body’s systems, preserve and/or strengthen the immune system, as well as many other benefits.  As positive as the people who support alternative cancer treatment methods, there are still some problems and pitfalls that cancer patients should be aware of in regards to this very important topic.  It is very critical that we maintain an attitude of objectivity, and that we do not fall into the trap of thinking of non-mainstream treatments as being a panacea for cancer treatment.

It was also found that the Zebra Swallowtail butterfly eats the leaves of the Paw Paw plant.  That butterfly is an obligate parasite of the plant. In this portion of the video series, Dr. McLaughlin discusses the various properties of the Paw Paw tree chemicals (annonaceous acetogenins) and how they are used in some of the products he works with.  The Paw Paw can be used to rid people and animals of intestinal parasites and other things, such as head lice.  It also has uses as a pesticide.  He also discusses the manufacture of the products and the use of the tree. He is a very thorough researcher.  It is fascinating to see how a true scientist conducts his investigations.

Dr. McLaughlin continues telling his story about his life’s work on cancer research and the Paw Paw tree.  He also said that Graviola, or Brazilian paw paw are other names for Paw Paw.

Graviola is a natural cancer treatment that was found in the Amazon rainforest.  It had been used by the indigenous people in the Amazon for ages.  When a pharmaceutical company was looking for a treatment for cancer, they began to research Graviola.  They found that it was effective for treating heart disease, asthma, liver problems and arthritis.

When the pharmaceutical company found that they couldn’t synthesize the most potent active ingredients in Graviola, they shelved the project.  Once they found that they couldn’t patent these elements of Graviola, they knew that they couldn’t earn many billions of dollars from sales of these patented drugs.  Then they basically shelved the project.  The bottom line is that they feel that profits were more important than sharing an effective, non-toxic treatment for cancer.  Profits over lives.

This is why people who study the cancer industry strongly believe that a cure for cancer would be suppressed by Big Pharma and the Medical Establishment.  It is because there is documented evidence that they have done exactly this with numerous cancer treatments.  The modern corporation is only focused on earning profits, and everything else, including the lives of people, are not a consideration.  If people have to die for profits, that is an acceptable business consequence to them.  Your job is to decline to be a victim for the profits of Big Pharma.
